Livia serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Tortoise. She holds a B.A from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Tortoise, Livia spent ten years at AllianceBernstein L.P., a global investment management firm with over $400 billion of assets under management, in a variety of roles covering management consulting, risk management, compliance, and business analysis. Her final role included responsibility for creating and managing the compliance program related to AllianceBernstein’s participation in the United States Treasury Capital Purchase Program and the Troubled Assets Relief Program. Earlier in her career, Livia worked in the construction, hotel management and publishing industries. |
